Edison LIVES

So here it is, my attempt at comic style art... So many ideas running through my head that I feel like I should really start trying to get the feel for comic art... This was my first whack at it so I'm not going to let myself be overly critical... I think it turned out rather well, honestly...

His name is Edison and he can control heat/fire, but only when he needs to. His inspiration to do good comes from a water stain in the basement of a church that resembles the Virgin Mary. When the stain is faded and gone his work will be done. He bought his smiley face shirt on sale at a thrift store, it was on sale due to the fact that it was warped in the printing process. The idea is that eventually when his actions become known they will mass produce his trademark t-shirt and his first nemesis will dawn the same garb and become the epitome of everything Edison is not.

EDIT: I know the shirt wrinkles and folds are shaded wavy and probably not realisticly, but I'm very proud of how they turned out...
