We ARE the People...

So I re-watched Taxi Driver last night, what a great flick. The more I see it the more I like it, and the more I can see why it's such a classic. This, as you geniuses have no doubt guessed, is Bobby DeNiro's portrayal of Travis Bickle, the slightly deranged yet lovable cabby. The picture I used as a reference had him actually holding a gun but I went another way with it for two very good reasons. 1. I can't draw guns. and 2. The part where he is in the porno house watching a movie and shooting the screen with his finger is my favorite part in the whole movie. It's just so... odd. So anyways, about the art, it's not great I know, rather then vectorize the sketch I instead just did a quick outline with some art pens, scanned it and went straight to coloring it. The little city is a stock image I found via Google magic, everything else I did myself. If you haven't seen the movie you should immediately do so, there's a reason you've undoubtedly heard of it several times. "You talking to me? Are YOU talkin to ME??" Classic... Enjoy.
